We stay ahead of logistics and transportation events in Europe, and we understand that TransLogistica Poland is the most important business event in Central and Eastern Europe. Companies from the transportation and logistics sectors can significantly benefit from meeting professionals during this fair, organized in Warsaw, Poland. The 2024 trade fair edition served as a crucial platform, bringing together
shippers, cargo owners, and transport companies, fostering valuable contacts, and driving industry growth.
Expler attended the latest edition of TransLogistica Poland in November 2024, which provided a unique opportunity to explore and compare a wide range of high-quality logistics services from leading providers. During the event, we observed numerous exhibitors showcasing ideal transportation solutions. They presented their diverse service offerings, including innovative technologies such as telematics and fleet management systems, to a targeted audience of decision-makers.
We gathered many insights on B2B sales and marketing for logistics, transportation, and supply chain sectors, and we're excited to share them with you in this short recap. Gain valuable insights from us and see how you can drive more sales and become a top marketer for your logistics company.
TransLogistica is a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the latest developments across the transportation and logistics ecosystem. There is no doubt that exhibitors cover a broad spectrum of solutions they aim to deliver to their prospects. Among the exhibitors, we can include providers of integrated logistics services and solutions for road, rail, sea, and air transportation. The event also features companies specializing in intermodal and multimodal transportation, freight forwarding, and the operation of seaports, container terminals, and airports. There was plenty to see and learn from these companies.
TransLogistica attracts a diverse audience of key industry professionals. Shippers and cargo owners—including producers, retail chains, distributors, importers, and exporters—actively attend the event to gain valuable insights and opportunities for their companies. I couldn't imagine a better place in Poland where we could also meet more companies from Western Europe. The presence of so many international businesses from around Europe and the United States shows that the market in Poland has finally matured and is ready to adopt top-class business solutions from more technologically advanced countries. The exhibition also welcomes many transport companies, carriers, and logistics operators, creating a valuable platform for networking and business development.
During the event, we had a chance to talk to top experts with massive experience in the logistics industry. We spoke with Wouter Barmentloo, director of business development at the Netherlands-Poland Chamber of Commerce, about why Dutch companies should invest in Poland now.
We also spoke with Grzegorz Kujawa, a business developer from KEMPOWER, about green logistics and the charging infrastructure for electric trucks.
Wouter Barmentloo said Poland is a beautiful market for Dutch companies because of its low labor costs, strong economic growth, and good infrastructure. He also said that the Polish government is very supportive of foreign investment.
Grzegorz Kujawa said that the demand for electric trucks is growing rapidly and that Poland is investing heavily in developing charging infrastructure. He also noted that KEMPOWER.com is committed to providing its customers with the best possible charging solutions.
The international level of presence might surprise many visitors at the EXPO XXI venue in Warsaw during TransLogistica. Numerous foreign companies from various industries were firmly focused on investing in Poland. In this case, I'm referring to companies looking to enter the Polish market from abroad.
Here's something important to consider:
If you want to enter any market, the first thing to consider is having native-speaking people on your team. I'm not saying that operating in English is not OK, but be aware that most people prefer building trust with locals. If you're looking for sales representatives or marketing support for B2B, please remember that sending your sales team may not be as effective, for example, in Poland. While international companies can find it easier to enter the market, you need advisors who understand the local landscape and economic climate if you want to grow locally.
